Our Story
Educ-Haiti Lekòl Nimerik was founded by Kerby Magophy, a passionate educator and advocate for accessible learning. A graduate of the Episcopal University of Haiti and the Business and Technology Institute (BTI) class of 2017, Kerby has always believed in the power of education to transform lives.
In 2019, he launched the Educ-Haiti Digital School Project, with the vision of providing electronic manuals and courses to help underserved students complete their curriculum. His dream was simple yet bold: to give even the most unfortunate students in Haiti the chance to keep learning, no matter their circumstances.
Building on that vision, Kerby expanded the project into Educ-Haiti Academy, a full online learning platform offering professional courses for young people in Haiti. His goal is to bridge the gap between traditional education and the opportunities of the digital era.
Beyond Educ-Haiti Academy, Kerby is also the founder of InCreole Translation, where he works as a professional translator and interpreter. As a fervent Kreyolist, he is deeply committed to promoting Haitian Creole and empowering Haitians through both language and education.
Through his leadership, Educ-Haiti Academy continues to grow as a platform that not only teaches but inspires — creating opportunities for students and professionals across Haiti.
